Q

AO3;

✅ 2 strengths

A

✅the research uses well-controlled procedures - bbys don’t know if they’re being observed root so behaviour doesn’t change = good validity

✅the research has potential value to society - important foundation of high quality attachments, practical application beneficial to society

Q

AO3:

❌ 2 weaknesses

A

❌ its hard to be certain you know whats happening with infants, there might imitate adults behaviour for other reasons.

❌mother- infant interactions are socially insensitive. mothers that return to work quickly after giving birth have less chance of bonding with their baby and interactional synchrony happening - suggests women shouldn’t return to work straight away which its up to initials to make that decision.
