bluish discoloration of the skin resulting from poor circulation

obstruction of an artery= clot of blood or an air bubble
haemophilia
the ability of the blood to clot is SEVERELY reduced- causing the patient to blled severely from slight injury
hypertension (HTN)
abnoramlly high blood pressure
ischemia
inadequate blood supply to an organ or part of the body : esp heart muscles
myocardial infraction (MI)
heart attack
occurs when blood flow decreases/stops to a part of the heart cuasing the damage to the heart muscle
stroke
poor blood flow to the brain results in cell death
1) lack of blood flow : ischemic
2) bleeding : hemorrhagic
