A

when you faint because your body overreacts to certain triggers, such as the sight of blood or extreme emotional distress

what is carotid sinus hypersensitivity?

A

an exaggerated response to carotid sinus baroreceptor stimulation. It results in dizziness or syncope from transient diminished cerebral perfusion.
