Mutation in either oncogenes or tumour suppressor genes, leading to uncontrolled cell division, tumour is formed

Code for proteins that suppress uncontrolled cell division

A mass of abnormal cells caused by uncontrolled cell division

Benign and malignant

Doesnt cause cancer, doesnt spread

Causes cancer, spreads through body in the blood (metastasis)
