• Automatic = FMGC (LDG ELEV must be in AUTO)
• Semi-automatic = by LDG ELEV selector button
• Manual = by selecting the MODE SEL to MAN and then using the MAN V/S CTL toggle switch

• Closes all opening below the waterline

- NOTE: if you lose both cabin pressure systems 1 + 2, you have to manually close the outflow valve
