- Automatic = FMGC (LDG ELEV must be in AUTO)
- Semi-automatic = by LDG ELEV selector button
- Manual = By selecting the MODE SEL to MAN and then using the MAN V/S CTL

- Closes all openings below the waterline
Note: If you lose both cabin pressure systems 1 + 2, you have to manually close the outflow valve.
