Q

How do you find out the volume of products / reactants (gases) in gas reactions? (When given a known volume of one reactant/product)

A

1) The ratio of the reactants and products in the balanced equation gives you the ratio of volumes of gases involved
2) You know the volume of one gas so you use the ratio to figure out the volume of the other e.g. 2 O2 makes 1 Co2 so 30dm3 o2 15dm3 co2
