- Recognize that you are working in an area of care where risk for burnout is high
- Create periods of rest and renewal
- Be compassionate with self about not being perfect
- Practice setting limits and alleviate stresses you can do something about
- Learn effective time management
- Work to cultivate personal support system
- Express persona in both work and play
- Work to understand motivation to work in FS
- Develop healthy eating, sleeping, exercise habits
- Strive to identify the unique ways in which your body informs you that you are stressed
