unwanted, intentional, aggressive behaviour that involves an inappropriate use of power by one or more people over less powerful people or person repeated over time

- direct physical: hitting, tripping, pushing
- direct verbal: name calling, insults, teasing
- indirect/covert: lying, spreading rumours, exclusion
- cyberbullying: pranking, image sharing, threatening texts

- it includes prank calls, sharing someones private information online, spreading rumours online

- it is invasive
