DIRECT/INDIRECT TAXES

DIRECT - tax on INCOME, EARNINGS or WEALTH, taxed more for more money e.g. income tax, inheritance tax (progressive taxes)
INDIRECT - Tax on goods and services, same for everyone e.g. VAT (regressive taxes)
