swollen lymph nodes in throats, armpits, groin (buboes)
general malaise
fever
headache and sudden chills

A
Vector / zoonotic -> common among rodents so fleas carry the disease.
Breathing in or touching body fluids from infected animals

A
needle aspiration of swollen lymph nodes and culture

Treatment?
A
powerful antibiotics and isolation (95% cure rate)

Black death (buboes turn black & burst)
