Adjust turn to achieve:
14T at 10nm
13T at 7.5nm
12T at 5nm
09T at 3nm
State the basic flow of a LL Phase 4 VID.
Commit
Once rolled out, roll radar elevation down to cover described location.
Detect and STT.
Make “targeted” call.
2D Geometry - Drive for, then maintain 18 TASP.
SWATT Cx
(MRM, ARM, TCAS Off)
Complete SMARTL Cx prior to reaching 2000ft AGL - ideally straight after SWATT.
At 28nm, start a 10 degree ND (idle) descent. Intercept 420kts and then use throttle to maintain.
At 20nm, place the bogey at 60ATA.
At 15TASP (usually about 8nm), fly the collision.
Call “Ninja 2, in [left/ right].
Select SRM and slave.
Gain tally.
At 0.5nm make the declaration.
State the basic flow of a Skate profile (inc. Normal Recommit).
Commit.
Detect.
Declare.
2D geometry to drive for 18 TASP.
3D geometry - Full power, M0.7 climb to top of sanctuary/ high as possible.
SWATT - MRM, ARM, TCAS ON.
35nm - Call Targeted.
28nm - L3 Checks:
Lock: Check PT, select STT and RWR.
Lead: Ensure steering dot inside ASE.
Late Arm: Arm.
26.5nm:
Take the MRM shot.
Call “FOX 3, Crank [L/R]”
PITBULL:
Anticipate and call “PITBULL, Out [L/R]”
Max performance descending turn to put Hostile in your 6 o’clock - use RWR and last known bearing.
De-arm CF.
Accelerate to 0.8M. Once achieved, start a speed sustaining climb (to top of sanctuary).
TTI reaches zero:
Call “Timeout, single group”
Listen to magic reply with hostile manoeuvre - Hostile likely to trash the missile and flow cold until beyond Targeting Range (35nm) before turning Hot again.
Whilst waiting for recommit criteria, complete Cold Ops Check:

RWR - refine the spike to the 6 o’clock.
FRRPPR:
Formation - Get speed and height in order.
RWR - If naked with hostile flowing cold, reposition back towards CAP.
Radar - Set to CAP SOP.
Picture - Call “Ninja 1, bogeydope”
Plan - If turned hot outside of Targeting Range, plan is a Normal Recommit.
[Think HHH:
Height - current vs airspace.
Heading - Recommit turn direction and rollout heading (given by TAC C2 Bogeydope call).
HAMR - Correct for hostile location.]
RT - Call “In, [L/R] when you turn for normal recommit.
The turn:
Full power.
Pull to 3 alpha, then squeeze to moderate buffet or G limit.
Adjust pull to capture M0.7.
[Do not extend CF above M0.8].
Roll out on hostile heading called by Tac C2.
Treat as another Skate. Detect the hostile, then make another “targeted” call at Targeting Range.
State the basic flow of a Banzai profile up to MAR.

2D - 18TASP.
3D - Blue merge sanctuary + 5000ft.
SWATT - MRM, ARM, OFF
35nm - call targeted.
Ropt + 2nm - Lock, Lead, Late arm.
Ropt - Fox 3, “crank [L/R]”.
Crank - select RWR.
Select 10 degrees ND to descend into sanctuary.
13nm (LSR+1nm) - Bring steering dot inside ASE.
Take second Fox 3 by NLT 12nm (LSR).
Crank back to 60 ATA.
Consider MARPEN criteria (FWART).
8nm (MAR) - Abort or IN.
State the basic flow of a Banzai abort into a SRR up to the radar to visual transition.
Max performance descending turn to put hostile in the 6 o’clock. Deploy chaff.
Deselect CF and descend to achieve M0.8.
Call FOX 3 timeouts.

Radar - 30/30, decentred, 2 bar, cursor at 40 ATA, height bracketed.
Picture
Plan - Height, Heading (turn direction and roll out), HAMR.
SRR:
Call “in [L/R]”
Fly the recommit turn as for skate, and roll out on calculated heading.
STT radar brick as soon as it builds.
Fox 3 as soon as lock has processed and inside Ropt.
Crank back to 60ATA.
13nm (LSR+1nm) - Bring steering dot inside ASE.
Take second Fox 3 by NLT 12nm (LSR).
Crank back to 60 ATA.
Consider MARPEN criteria (FWART).
8nm (MAR) - Abort or IN.
State the basic flow of a Radar to Visual transition.
You will be at 60ATA, crossing MAR.
At 8nm (MAR) or 14TASP (whichever comes first), max perform to fly the collision.
Select SRM and slave.
Call “In [L/R]”?
Call timeouts once TTI reaches zero. Call “kill” if shot not trashed.
If on a 17TASP or greater, flare every 5s from 5nm to 1nm.
Remain within sanctuary until tally.
Set up for Low to High merge: CF armed, 0.7M, SRM selected and slaved.
Aim for a valid FOX 2 pre-merge.
State how to conduct an FQMD when spiked within MAR.
Note the range to the hostile.
Fly a full power, CF, max performance turn to put the spike at 90 degrees to you on RWR. Deploy chaff.
Call “Ninja 1, spiked, [bearing]”
Maintain 0.7M with CF armed.
Remain in the notch until 5nm. Chaff every 2 seconds until 5nm.
5nm - select VERTAC. Max perform to centralise spike in RWR.
Roll out - select HUDAC if VERTAC didn’t get a lock.
Ensure SRM selected and slaved.
If at 17TASP or above, flare every 5s until within 1nm.
Gain tally and merge.
