Pt leans back on pillow at 30 deg angle against the PT
Upper lobes (apical segments) Technique?
PT claps with cupped hand over area btw CLAVICLE and TOP OF SCAP on each side
Upper lobes (posterior segments): Table position?
FLAT
Upper lobes (posterior segments): Pt position?
Pt leans over a folded pillow at 30 deg angle
Upper lobes (posterior segments): Technique?
PT stands behind pt and claps over upper back on both sides
Upper lobes (anterior segments): Table position?
FLAT
Upper lobes (anterior segments): Pt position?
Pt lies on BACK with pillow under knees
Upper lobes (anterior segments): Technique?
PT claps btw CLAVICLE and NIPPLE on each side
R Middle Lobe:
Table position?
Foot of bed elevated 16”
R Middle Lobe:
Pt position?
Pt lies HEAD DOWN on LEFT side and rotates 1/4 turn backward.
Pillow may be placed behind from shoulder to hip
KNEES FLEXED
R Middle Lobe:
Technique?
PT claps over R nipple area
In females with breast development, use cupped hand with heel of hand under armpit and fingers extending forward beneath breath
L upper lobe: Lingular segment:
Table position?
Foot of bed elevated 16”
L upper lobe: Lingular segment:
Pt position?
Pt lies head down on RIGHT side, then rotated 1/4 turn backward
Pillow may be placed behind from shoulder to hip
Knees FLEXED
L upper lobe: Lingular segment:
Technique?
Pt claps with cupped hand over L nipple area.
In females with breast development.. same technique as for R middle lobe.. (heel of hand at armpit with fingers extending under breast)
