Dorper (South Africa)
A
- developed in 1930’s from crossing of Dorset ram and blackhead Persian ewe for arid extensive regions of South Africa
- white bodied with black head, but can also be solid white
- very fertile and breeds out of season
- produces hair that naturally sheds if not shorn
