What is formula milk?
Formula milk is cow’s milk that is modified to closely resemble breast milk, with added vitamins and minerals. It is suitable for babies up to one year old.

Some women find breastfeeding pain, stressful and tiring.
It can be difficult for a breastfeeding mother to leave her baby for more than a couple of hours as no one else can feed baby unless she leaves expressed milk.

How is formula milk prepared?
Formula may be prepared ahead of time (up to 24hours) if you store it in the refrigerator to prevent the information of bacteria. Open containers of ready-made formula, concentrated formula, and formula prepared from concentrate also can be stored safely in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.

Breasts are made up of fat and breast tissue, along with nerves, veins, arteries and connective tissue that helps hold everything in place. The main chest muscle is found between the breast and the ribs in the chest wall.
How to get going with breast feeding?
When you first start breast feeding, it is best to have a trained person to watch and provide skilled help and support. Getting the first few feeds right can make a huge difference to getting established successfully, and can prevent problems such as sore nipples, breast pain and poor milk supply.
Why is it important to sterilise the bottles used for feeding a baby formula milk?
The bottles have to be sterilised to prevent bacteria being passed to the baby when feeding. A baby’s digestive system is sensitive for the first year and they can get ill more easily than young children or adults.
