A

A

A
Ragged break when excessive twisting force is applied.

A
Bone breaks incompletely, much like a green twig would break.

What are the 4 events of bone fracture repair?
A
- Hematoma is formed.
- Break is splinted by a Fibrocartilage callus - closing the gap.
- A bony callus is formed.
- Bony callus is remodelled to form a strong permanent patch of compound bone.
