Bone cells Flashcards

1
Q

What are osteogenic cells?

A
  • actively go through mitosis
  • when stimulated; creates osteoblast & bone-lining cells

Q

What are osteocytes cells?

A
  • maintaining bony matrix
  • senses extra load on bones; sends communication to osetoblast and it lays down more osetoid and the bones become stronger
