What is homesteisis and its use in the body ?

Homeostasis keeps the body in balance.When it gets too cold, your body changes to keep you warm by making you shiver, and by moving blood from your outer limbs to your torso to protect your organs.

What does active transport allow for, between the movement of sugar.
A
Active transport allows sugar molecules, which are needed for cell respiration, to be absorbed into the blood from the gut, even when the sugar concentration of the blood is higher.
