- Space between parietal and visceral pericardia (surrounding heart)

Within abdominopelvic cavity (more superior)
Includes:
- Stomach
- Spleen
- Small intestine
- Most of large intestines
- Kidneys
- Liver
- Pancreas
- Uterus

- Potential Space between parietal and visceral peritoneum (membrane in the abdominopelvic cavity)
Contains: Serous fluid

- Portion of abdominopelvic cavity enclosed by hip bones (more inferior)
- Contains:
- Intestine
- Internal reproductive organs
- Urinary bladder
- Urethra
