Question 1

Boarding canine patients

Answer 1

Must be up to date on DA2PP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccines. They also must have an updated intestinal parasite panel done.

Boarding feline patients

Answer 2

All feline patients must be up to date on FPVRTC and Rabies vaccines. They also must have an updated intestinal parasite panel done in the last 6 months and FELV/FIV test done within the last 2 years.

Exceptions to boarding vax rules

Some patients have clearance for boarding without having to do these things, usually very sick and old or immunocompromised patients. Always check with a doctor if unsure.
