Blood supply Horn

Provided by aa./vv. Cornuales
(terminal branches of the superficial temporal artery and vein)
○ Dorsal branch : supplies the dermis and cornual process
○ Ventral branch : supplies the dermis and the bone
○ Small branches run in canals etc of the cornual process, because of this
bleeding in the horn cannot be stopped, so amputation of the horn should be
done as close to the frontal bone as possible, before the vessels enter the
bone
