What is blood?
Blood is a bodily fluid in humans and other animals that delivers necessary substances such nutrients and oxygen to the cells and transports metabolic waste products away from those same cells.
What is plasma?
Liquid part of the blood

- flexible it can fit through capillaries
- no nucleus: more room for haemoglobin
Why do red blood cells have haemoglobin?
Carries oxygen around your blood and gives it its red color
