What do white blood cells do?
A
They work with the body’s immune system to fight infection

What do red blood cells do?
A
They give blood a red colour and they carry oxygen around the body. They live for 4 months. Bone Marrow makes 4-5 million RBC every hour.

What’s the function of platelets?
A
They are fragments of old cells. They help stop bleeding by forming a scab.
