⦁ Transports CO2 from the organs to the lungs to be breathed out
⦁ Transports the wase product urea from the liver to the kidneys
What is the function of red blood cells?
⦁ Transports oxygen from the lungs to the body cells
What are 3 adaptations of red blood cells?
⦁ They contain haemoglobin which allows them to carry blood
⦁ They have no nucleus which means they have more room for haemoglobin
⦁ They have a dimpled shape to give them a greater surface area so oxygen cn diffuse in and out of them faster
What is the function of white blood cells?
⦁ For part of the immune system by making anitbodies
What is an adaptation of white blood cells?
