A
He sees religion as having a dual character
As a Marxist he recognises that religion, often changes and emphasises that it can also inspire a protest and rebellion
Religion is an expression of the principle of hope, which is our dreams of life, which contains the images of utopia
The dreams of utopia may deceive people with promises of the afterlife, but it can also help people to see what has to be changed in the world
Religious beliefs may that all create a vision of a better world, which brings about social change
