Pudendal to sphincter urethrae
Acute injury to cervical/thoracic segments [spical shock]
sphincter vesicae is contracted, sphincter urethrae relaxed> dribbling of urine
After a few days bladder contracts every 2-4hrs > automatic reflex bladder
Damage to sacral segments
Autonomous bladder > continuous dribbling
Trigone
Smooth triangular area of bladder formed by 2 ureteric orifaces and one internal urethral oriface
Very sensitive to distention: one fully distended sends signals to brain for micturation
