What is the current view of bipolar with evidence?
Tanas et al (2016) mood zoom. six mood dimensions were studied, (anger, elation, sadness, anxiety, irritability and elation) and these 6 were plotted against each other and it was found that bipolar individuals had the most emotional variation, because the emotions are unstable. this data was in use to predict how bipolar individuals would feel later on based on their current mood, and they found that bipolar was very predictable, because rather than the unstable, manic depression and stable normal mood, is the inverse where manic and depression are the most stable, and the normal mood is actually full of fluctuations
What is the level of heritability in bipolar?
 between 60 and 90%
Why can’t Hair ability explain all of bipolar
because we also need to consider environment
Explain, bipolar heritability
differences in genes the account for bipolar. however, it’s important to note the environment plays apart and if the environment is having a major impact then jeans aren’t as important in determining likelihood of becoming bipolar
