What are carbohydrates

A

long chains of simple sugars. When 2 glucose molecules join together, maltose is formed. When many glucose molecules join they form cellulose, glycogen, and starch. Glucose = Reducing Sugar

Made up of Fatty Acids and Glycerol. Fats as solids and Oil as liquids.. Most energetic of the 3. Twice as much energy when digested than proteins and carbohydrates.
