Outline evidence suggesting role for genes in Schz development

Twin studies - MZ twins ( 40.4%) and DZ twins 7.4% concordance rates suggesting bio influence on schz development
ADDITIONALLY - Concordance rates for MZRA ( reared apart) 40% and MZRT ( reared together) 40 % . MZ twins may be more similar and exposed to the same environment, CR remain the same showing that even when reared apart or together genes remain the same.
