the process by which organisms transform light energy into chemical energy (water and co2 –> glucose and oxygen)

What is aerobic respiration
A
process of cellular respiration that take place in the presence of oxygen gas. (glucose and oxygen –> co2 + water + ATP)

What is anaerobic respiration
A
decomposition of glucose with the release of energy but without oxygen. eg. alcohol fermentation, lactic acid fermentation.
