  1. Adult lives in sheep - sexual reproduction
  2. Eggs are pooped out
  3. Miracidium larvae swim in mud
  4. Sporocyst rows into redia then cercaria in snails
  5. Cercaria swim out of snail
  6. Metacercarae crawl to grass to get eaten

  • suckers attach to the wall
  • segments (proglotilids) grow out of the scolex
  • Each segment produces eggs
  • segments break off and regrow into new adults

    - clitellum: band that wraps around during mating, then catches eggs, slides off and becomes a cocoon
    - hermaphrodites that play both roles when mating
