- Coast Guard Auxillary may operated the vessel if authorized by the coxswain.

Discuss CO/OINC authority to approve, direct, initiate and cease Coast Guard Personnel deploying onbaord other than Coast Guard boats.

The unit CO/OINC may approve the participation of unit personnel on platforms belonging to other agencies in accordance with the MArine Safety Manual and the MLEM

Discuss the policy for conducting boat operations using DOD, Allied and Foreign Partner unit Boats

CO/OINC can authorize the use of CG personnel for boats with similar qualifications and operating parameters. A familiarization shall be conducted upon deployment to ensure mission safety.
