One way it can be a benefit is that it increases employee empowerment/moral. This is due to employees having a higher level of freedom in the decision making their manager gives them, this leads to employees taking ownership of their work and helping make decisions contribute towards a businesses success.This can increase employee motivation and engagement leading to higher productivity and helping work towards the goal of a more successful business.
