point-small start up businesses should be highly concerned if there labour turnover is high as it can cause them a lack of productivity.
explain-loss of trained staff(maybe only they could complete a task),effective staff-leads to lower productivity as only thaty specific member hass the unique abillity to complete the task until new staff is fully trained
example-A small coffee shop and only certain employ could clean the machines but has left due to hard hr-treating employees as a resource to complete task as efficiently as possible
analyse-
however-these business can improver by increasing pay or moving towards soft hr

point-however not all businesses should be concerned if they have high labour turnover such as large established businesses such as river island.
explain-this is due to business needing seasonal workers at christmass time
example-a large established business such a river island doesnt need the same amount of employees all yeard round compare tochristmas as they get more busy-increasing labour turnover
however this is not a concern for businesses like this as they do not need to keep spending money on wokrers yealry as it reduces there total profits
