IDLE REVERSE THRUST LANDING (IRTL)
IDLE REVERSE THRUST WILL BE USED ON RUNWAYS WITH 7,500 FT OR MORE OF ACTUAL LANDING DISTANCE AVAILABLE AS RUNWAY AND PEFORMANCE CONDITIONS DICTATE.
MUST BE BRIEFED WHEN BRIEFING. ADDITIONAL OR FULL REVERSE THRUST IS AVAILABLE AT ANY TIME.
IRTL MAY NOT BE USED WHEN:
- ABORTED / REJECTED TAKEOFF
- WET OR CONTAMINATED RUNWAYS (RCC 5 OR LESS)
- BRAKING ACTION IS REPORTED LESS THAN GOOD
- OVERWEIGHT LANDINGS
- ANY TAILWIND COMPONENT EXISTS
- WITH A DEFERRAL / ABNORMALITY THAN MAY AFFECT LANDING DISTANCE
- DISPLACED THRESHOLD OR DURING CONSTRUCTION WHEN LESS THAN 7500 IS AVAILABLE
- ACARS OR DISPATCH LANDING DISTANCE EXCEEDS 7500 WITHOUT REVERSER CREDIT
WHEN THE AIRPLANE CROSSES THE THRESHOLD AT 5 KNOTS ABOVE VREF, LANDING DISTANCE INCREASES BY _____ CROSSING THE THRESHOLD AT 100 FT INSTEAD OF 50 FT INCREASES THE LANDIGN DISTANCE BY 35%. EXTENDING THE FLARE BY 3 SECONDS INCREASES LANDING DISTANCE BY 25%.

CROSSING THE THRESHOLD AT 100 FT INSTEAD OF 50 FT INCREASES THE LANDIGN DISTANCE BY ______
