Why is resting important?

A

because it’s better for building overall muscle mass. The purpose is to keep stress on your muscles and work them again before they have the chance to fully recover. It gives your muscles intensity over a longer period of time and allows you to keep your muscles “pumped” between sets.

A

it gives your body a chance to recover and your heart rate to return to normal. It should be a five to ten minute stretching session or a light walk on the treadmil after your workout
