Oocyte
Immature gamete released from ovaries
One oocyte is released each month
It travels a long one of two short uterine tubes, which ends in the muscular organ called the uterus.
Fertilization
If a sperm reaches the oocyte and start the process of fertilization the Oocyte matures into an ovum.
The uterus will enclose and support an embryo
