A

Doing two things at once

Combining extinction with positive reinforcement
- decreases the unwanted behaviour while increasing desired behaviour.

Q

Antecedent control

And steps

A

Controlling the environment so a problem behaviour will not occur

  • remove cue for misbehaviour- issue causing misbehaviour. Eg garbage can
  • add cue for good behaviour
  • add an establishing operations for good behaviour. Eg deprivation + food reward
  • remove an establishing operation for misbehaviour.
  • decrease response effort for good behaviour - make it easy for him to behave
  • ## increase the response effort for problem behaviour. Make it harder for him to misbehave.
