Victim pick up
Used for victims who are in waters where a clean approach can be made
Victim retrieval
Used primarily for getting positive control of a victim until the boat can make a clean pick up
Vehicle approaches
The Bowman got to direct the operator close enough to transfer the victims. The car can move downstream at anytime, especially when transfer of the body weight from car to boat is taking place.
Stationary objects
The Bowman may need to leave the boat to aid or package the victim. Find a good location where the boat can hold station.
