Bannockburn overall,
Gave the Scots confidence - cemented Bruce’s reputation as a military commander and seemingly invincible warlord - success brought more support.
Bruce’s throne
Legitimised Bruce’s throne. This was important because confirmed his control over Scotland, captured Stirling and later Bothwell castle. Edward II fled - ending the English occupation.

Bruce could exchange valuable captives. This was important because it swopped the Earl of Hereford for his wife, sister and daughter.
Cambuskenneth Parliament
The victory at Bannockburn empowers Bruce to hold a parliament at Cambuskenneth in November 1314.
Important because it allowed Bruce to give the ultimatum to swithering nobles via the Disinherited declaration, that they back him or lose lands
Attack on england
1315-26 Bruce was now free to attack England.
This demonstrated England was unable to defend their border. Particularly notable was the Battle of Old Byland in Yorkshire - a convincing victory deep into English territory and the recapture of Berwick in 1318
Ireland
Similarly, Bruce was able to open up a new front in Ireland which was important because it forced Edward to divert troops which could otherwise have been used to fight Bruce.
