Narrow
>200mg = significant CNS toxicity

What are the clinical signs of Baclofen OD?
A
Agitation -> coma
Seizures
Hypotonia
Areflexive
Resp depression

What is the mechanism of action?
A
Synthetic GABA analogue

How can patients appear in significant overdose?
A
Braindead with fixed dilated pupils, areflexia and hypotonia

Treatment?
A
Supportive
IV benzos for seizures

Treatment for OD in setting of intrathecal baclofen pump?
A
Stop infusion
Empty reservoir
LP - remove 30-50ml of CSF
