Single DC GENERATOR caution light

- GEN sw……reset then on

Fire handle illuminates during start
Throttles - both to idle/shut off/confirm fire
T handle - identify/pull
Fire - if fire persists - fire main
If fire continues for more than 10 secs

Engine fire during takeoff
- Land if a suitable area is available
- collective - lower as altitude permits, below OEI
- airspeed - 45kt min
- throttle - identify/ idle / check for fire
If fire confirmed or doubt exists
- throttle - closed

If fire persists for more than 10 secs
Fire ext - fire reserve
ITT races up during engine start
Abort start:
- throttle - closed
- boost pump switch - off
- fuel. Switch - off (affected eng)
- starter - maintain energised until ITT decreases
Red baggage fire light illuminates
Power - reduce to min required
Land as soon as possible
Check for signs of smoke/fire, if confirmed or doubt exists
Land immediately
Nose goes left during hover and Nr drops a little
Engine failure in hover
Collective - freeze/lower to minimise Nr decay
Cyclic/pedals - correct drift and yaw
Collective - as required to cushion landing
Eng Oil pressure caution light illuminates
Engine low oil pressure < 40psi
Collective - lower to within OEI power limits
Confirm - oil px gauge below limit

Collective - adjust to contain NR

Stuck pedal - left pedal forward - ball right

Accept up to 45deg nose left
Wind from right
Control hdg with throttles (index finger points in direction)
Control during touch down can be assisted by winding off throttle and simultaneously raising collective
Master caution
FUEL VALVE light
Fuel valve not properly seated or CB popped
CB - check
Land as soon as practicable
Stuck pedal - right pedal forward - ball left
Insufficient thrust - ball left

Max nose right = 20 deg
Greater than 20deg = auto

Continue using cyclic ATTD TRIM switch and collective to maintain airspeed and glide slope.

Continue in HDG or ATT mode

OFF flag appears in HSI
DG failure - hdg info unreliable.

Continue in any mode except - HDG
In the event of an apparent malfunction of the pilot altimeter, IVSI and/or ASI what should you do?
