What extra parts do plant cells have?
Cell walls, Permanent Vacuoles
What do mitochondria do
They respirate which makes them release energy
What is the Nucleus’ function?
It controls all activity of the cell. Contains genes needed for new cells
What is the cell membrane’s function?
It controls the passage of substances
What is the function of the cytoplasm of a cell?
It is where chemical reactions needed for new life takes place.
What does the sperm cell have?
One set of chromosomes (half the chromosomes of a person, which is 23)
What are stem cells?
Unspecialised cells, they can divide and multiply and can form other types of cells, tissue and organs
What is the difference between plant and bacteria cells?
Plant cells have a nucleus, a vacuole, chloroplasts and chlorophyl, plant cells are much larger
