BCBC describes egress as
continuos path of travel provided for escape from any point within a building or contained open space.
Calculating occupancy load
(L x W) / 1.85m2
Room is 8m x 10m
8 x 10 / 1.85m2 = 43 people
Floors with higher occupant loads means
number of exits must be increased and swings of doors factored into way of travel.

are fire protected ares connected to means of egress
