Define Movement
Actions by the organisms or a part of it that causes a change in place or position
Define Respiration
A chemical reaction that takes place in the cells that break down nutrients to release energy (for metabolism)
Define Sensitivity
When an organism is able to feel or detect is surroundings and respond to changes in the environment
(changes are called stimuli, it can be external or internal)
Define Growth
A permanent increase in size of size in an organism
(increase can also be in cell number of cell size.
Define Repoduction
A process where organisms make more of the same type of organism
Define Excretion
Removal of waste products of metabolism, toxic things and substances that the organism in not in need of.
Define Nutrition
The taking in of materials for growth, energy and development.
Define Metabolism
The chemical reaction that happens inside a cell including metabolism.
