O: external occipital protuberance (EOP), medial 1/3 of superior nuchal line of occiput, nuchal ligament, spinous process of C7
I: lateral 1/3 of clavicle, acromion process
A: elevation of scapula @ ST joint, upward rotation of scapula @ ST, weak retraction of scapula @ ST
Reverse mover actions: extension of head and neck @ spinal joints, lateral flexion of head and neck @ spinal joints, contralateral rotation of head and neck @ spinal joints
trapezius (lower fibres)
O: spinous processes of T6-T12
I: tubercle at root of spine of scapula
A: depression of scapula @ ST joint, upward rotation of scapula @ ST joint, weak retraction of scapula @ ST joint

O: ribs 3-5 near costal cartilage
I: coracoid process of scapula (medial aspect)
A: protraction of scapula @ ST joint, depression of scapula @ ST joint, downward rotation of scapula @ ST joint

O: spinous processes of T2-T5
I: between root of spine and inferior angle of scapula
A: elevation of scapula @ ST joint, retraction (adduction) of scapula @ ST joint, weak contralateral rotation of trunk @ spinal joints
rhomboid minor
O: spinous processes of C7-T1
I: root of spine of scapula
A: elevation of scapula @ ST joint, retraction (adduction) of scapula @ ST joint, weak contralateral rotation of trunk @ spinal joints
omohyoid (inf. belly)
latissimus dorsi (AH)
O: spinous processes of T7-L5, posterior sacrum, posterior iliac crest.
I: medial lip of bicipital groove of humerus
A: extension, adduction, medial rotation of arm @ GH joint. weal depression of scapula @ ST joint.
pectoralis major (AH)
O: clavicular head - medial 1/2 of clavicle, sternocostal head - sternum (costal cartilage of ribs 1-7), external abdominal oblique aponeurosis
I: lateral lip of bicipital groove of humerus
A: adduction, medial rotation, flexion of arm @ GH
