Localizer mode disarm
Before capture
- Push LOC switch again
- Arming LNAV
After capture
- Push GA
- another roll mode other than LNAV
- disengage AP and FD

Approach mode disarm
Before LOC and GS capture
- push app arm switch again
- push LOC switch < loc remains armed only)
- push LNAV
- push VNAV
Approach mode deselect
LOC captured, GS armed
- select roll mode other than LNAV
- select LOC for LoC approach.
LOC and GS
- TOGA
- disengage AP and FD
GS capture and LOC armed
-select pitch mode other than VNAV
Autoland status
Push/reset
Before APP
-changes NO AUTOLAND or NO LAND 3 to blank
-returns if condition still present
After APP
- No Land 3 blank until land or AP disengage
- No Autoland remains until AP disengage
ALT CAP
Not engaged below 800 ft in TO or GA mode.
Go around arm
GS capture
Flap extension
Activates FD in GA mode
Cancels thrust derates if selected after TO
Autopilot light
Degraded mode
Autopilot change from FLCH to VS without selection

AFDS commands pitch after TO
V2+15 or liftoff +15, whichever greater
If current speed above for more than 5 sec
-current speed to a max of V2 +25
Speed window speed if changed to a speed greater than target.
GA speed
MCP speed or current speed, whichever is higher
If current >initial for 5 sec, resets to current speed to a max of window speed plus 25kts
If speed at go-around > window +25, that airspeed is maintained.
AT disconnect
