RA inoperative
After 2 seconds A/P disconnect.
Autopilot disengagement
Pushing TO/GA single A/P -below 2000ft RA -flaps not up -GS green Pushing TO/GA single A/P -above 2000ft RA with flaps not up -GS green Pushing TO/GA after touchdown. Using Control will switch trim. IRS System failure. Loss of electrical power. Loss of hydraulic power.
Independent F/D operation
No A/P engaged. Both F/D on. And one of the following: - APP engaged with LOC and GS captured -GA or TO mode engaged below 400ft RA
TO/GA - go around
Engaged for go–around by pushing the TO/GA switch under the following conditions:
- inflight below 2000 feet radio altitude
- inflight above 2000 feet radio altitude with flaps not up or G/S captured
- not in takeoff mode
- either F/D ON or OFF.
LNAV interception
On any heading up to 3nm.
More then 3nm, 90 degrees or less and interception before active point.
Second press on TO/GA below/above 800ft AGL
second press of the TO/GA switch below 800 feet above field elevation will change the thrust limit mode to GA and
N1 reference bugs to increase to full GA thrust, thrust levers will not be in motion.
A second press of the TO/GA switch above 800 feet above field
elevation, thrust levers advance toward full GA thrust
A/P Go-Around available
Dual A/P and FLARE armed is annunciated
A/T go around & FD go around
A/T arm switch at ARM &
- below 2000ft
-above 2000ft with flaps not up or G/S captured.
FD go around only - not in takeoff mode.
Independent F/D operation when neither A/P is engaged
APP mode engaged with LOC &GS captured.
GA or TO mode engaged and below 400ft RA.
No reversion mode
Flaps above 12.5 or,
A/T off or,
After GS captured.
VNAV PTH flying a level segment.
FD GA, engaging A/P in CMD
Pitch
Roll
MCP SPD
HDG SEL
ILS AUTO LAND steps
ILS anomaly or failure- A/P disengage.
Hydraulic failure A or B - both A/P disengages.
Below 1500ft - ILS deviation test, FLARE armed, second A/P couples with flight controls.
800ft - Second A/P must be engaged
500ft - verify FLARE armed, no steady A/P WARNING light.
400ft - nose up trim, FLARE not armed A/P disengage by 350ft.
50ft - FLARE engaged, FD bars retract.
27ft - A/T RETARD.
Rollout - A/T disconnect 2 seconds after touchdown.
