Don’t assume mild impairment - mild impact
Start by using assessment that tests whole system = spoken word to picture matching.
Always compare, with reading comprehension.
Find out what processes support comprehension
Check hearing and vision

Contrast spoken and written comprehension
Spoken word to pic matching vs written word.
Spoken synonym judgement vs written. = ax if it is access to semantics or semantics itself.
Ask client to define a word that they can repeat.
