POINT SOURCE speaker - which means you can point it and it is it’s own source … unlike an ARRAY which is meant to be part of LINE .. ARRAY speakers throw wide but not high .. Point source speakers throw a pretty even metric of sound.

The L-Acoustics X15 is a powerful and versatile loudspeaker family within the X Series, offering two variations: the X15 HiQ and the X15 HF. Both excel in live sound reinforcement and production applications, so let’s delve into their specifics:

X15 HiQ: (We have 12 of these)

15-inch low-frequency transducer and 3-inch compression driver: Delivers impactful and clear sound with accurate and controlled directivity. Enhances high-frequency directivity and reduces off-axis coloration, ensuring consistent sound quality across the coverage area.

High SPL (Sound Pressure Level): Up to 138 dB, ensuring clarity and power even in the loudest environments.

L-Vents™ laminar vents: Reduce port noise and allow for higher output without compromising sound quality.

Applications: Primarily used as a stage monitor for musicians due to its strong vocal impact and immunity to feedback.

Also suitable for near-field sound reinforcement and front-fill systems.
________________________________

Both X15 variations share some key strengths:

Rugged construction: Built with high-quality materials for long-lasting performance and weather resistance.
